FDA OMHHE REACH Consortium
NCCHCA and THIS-NC are honored to be part of the FDA Office of Minority Health and Health Equity's Racial and Ethnic Minority Acceleration Consortium for Health Equity (REACH). REACH is a research consortium of organizations and institutions that aims to timely and efficiently respond to health equity focused research needs.
The REACH consortium was created to lead from the core concepts of trust, respect, and relationship-building with three main goals:
- To create a collaborative environment to meet the needs of diverse communities
- To continuously strengthen a bidirectional relationship and communication
- To identify opportunities for collaboration to advance health equity for racial and ethnic minority and underserved populations
Our team is honored to partner with other REACH consortium members to represent historically underserved and underrepresented communities across the nation.
